4 Tropf-Blumats per 100cm box (approx. 20cm wide)
3 Tropf-Blumats per 80cm box
Wider boxes (e.g., 100 x 40cm): typically 6–7 Tropf-Blumats
Pots:
Up to 20cm diameter: 1 Tropf-Blumat
Up to 40cm: 2 Tropf-Blumats
Up to 50cm: 3 Tropf-Blumats
Garden Beds:
1 Tropf-Blumat per 2 average-sized plants (spaced ~20–22cm)
For closer spacing (~15cm), 1 Tropf-Blumat can serve 3 plants
Large Containers:
Use fewer drippers where appropriate to avoid overwatering—plant size and species matter.
Using with an Elevated Reservoir:
This kit is gravity-compatible and works best when connected to a raised water tank.
Install spigot approx. 5cm above tank floor (12mm bore hole)
Elevate tank at least 70cm above your plants' top level to ensure adequate pressure
Use a tank that blocks light to prevent algae and clean periodically
